    Inevitable fate

A very common symptom of anxiety, something i have had to deal with myself. When it reaches that point for me, i find getting outside in the air - preferably cold - and taking deep breaths in between bites helps. Just take it slowly, little bites, don't try to force it down and stick to bland...

    Inevitable fate

There is no such thing as fate, inevitable or otherwise. Your life may not be going the way you planned, but that does not mean you won't have a good life. Please don't do anything stupid and harm yourself, because no matter how bleak things seem now, they can get better.

Prostituion really helps reduce loneliness and makes you feel comforted. (no sex)

No it's the same here really. Embezzle, defraud, assault, those can all be forgiven after a week or two by the press. Have sex with someone you shouldn't though, and bam! you're the topic of conversation for months if not years. And we have the same ridiculous attitude to sex in the media as...

Prostituion really helps reduce loneliness and makes you feel comforted. (no sex)

Most of those prosecutions are due to police stings, if a real prostitute were involved they'd be prosecuted too. And i should point out that the solicitation also applies to the punter - you can't ask to pay for sex either. How it works? Well there are certain phrases used. A "masseuse" may...

Prostituion really helps reduce loneliness and makes you feel comforted. (no sex)

Prostitution isn't illegal. It's solicitation that is illegal. You can pay for sex all you want, but the prostitute cannot advertise his or her services in any way shape or form. It's how "massage" parlours get away with it here in the UK.

    Shyness has ruined my life

Bub, getting a job even with tons of experience is difficult in the UK these days. It's no failure of yours if you are struggling. That was merely the catalyst for my own overcoming of shyness. You can do it without working. The tiniest bit of interaction with a stranger will help you. Each...

    Shyness has ruined my life

For the first twenty five years of my life, i was absolutely crippled by shyness. I literally could not speak to people i didn't know - my mouth would refuse to open, i'd be able to maybe mumble a response, all the while turning red as a beetroot - it was so bad i had to get friends to go to a...

    logical suicide

It's not naive to have hope. And if you don't mind me saying so, i find your attitude to be the epitome of what humanity should be; to continue, whatever the odds.

It's certainly left me worried about him. I've sent him an email through the forum asking him to get in touch, i just hope he didn't do anything stupid.

    Sexuality

I see no reason to repeat myself. I provided the passages, pick up your Bible and actually read it before making claims on what it does and does not contain. Nor was i debating religion, that issue arose out of a misunderstanding between myself and LeaningIntoTheMuse, something we have since...

    Friendzone

By all means ask the girl if she'd be interested in becoming more than friends, but for feths sake don't ever use the word "friendzone". The negative connotations attached to that word would torpedo any chance you have of changing the nature of your relationship. You'd basically make yourself...

    Sexuality

Yes really. Homosexuality exists throughout the animal kingdom, it can be observed in virtually every mammalian species along with several avian species. Likewise it's been present in humanity since the very beginning. Homophobia is a human invention, it's not something that naturally occurs.

    Sexuality

Yeah, it really was. And for the sake of the topic creator i agree, and also want to reiterate: There is nothing wrong in any way, shape or form with homosexuality or homosexual thoughts and desires. It is present throughout the animal kingdom, it's a perfectly normal part of human sexuality...

    Sexuality

I think you've grasped hold of the wrong end of the stick. Re-read what i've said in this thread. Firstly, i'm an atheist. Hence why i find the Bible a disgusting piece of hate literature and can quote the horrific things it says about homosexuality. Secondly, i have no problem with gay...

This gun is too my head.

You need to speak to your doctor immediately. They can help you, honestly they can. I've been in your position, i've felt the same thing, i've cut my own wrists and hoped i bled out before anyone found me. And i got help. Please, please don't do anything before seeking medical help.
