The Flat of My Neighbor Was Robbed Right Now

What a imperfect world!
We live in an apartment house.
Right now my neighbor knocked on my door and said, his flat was robbed.
Now we're waiting for police.
I was sitting all the day in my room and heard nothing.
Just scared about my family.
And I cannot understand why people become thieves.

How frightening for you and your family, to be next door to a burglary. I hope that the police catch the theives. I doubt very much that they will come back to the area, as they will be too nervous of being recognised.

I am so impressed, because my room where I'm sitting now, has a common wall with a room that was robbed.
Policeman came, asked if I saw anybody. Signed the protocol.
We'll waiting for the results.

Sorry to hear that, man. As to why people become thieves? From financial needs, naturally, you won't hear many prospering people robbing houses.

That is a scary thing. My mom's next door neighbour was robbed a few years ago. They used a crowbar to pop the lock on her basement door.
