thats pretty interesting i've kinda thought about proportional’ theory. Als o as children we seem to have shorter attention span. As a kid you can really only do something for like twenty minutes before getting bored of it a lot of times. But now when we get into things like games or a good book, we can be doing this for hours and sometimes we're be so into something that we are completly unaware of the time passing by.

Also we're more busy than we were as kids, as a kid i think we had more free time.
