Advice needed [writing a story]

First off, I know this isn't a writing forum. I've addressed my question on there as well, but more opinions couldn't hurt.

I've got a question for those who write as a hobby, or professionally. It's about POVs. Say you have several main characters. Do you write each chapter from one character's POV and the other from the next, or do you do half-half, or perhaps somehow mix them? I can't really decide.

It really depends on your choice. Are you asking what you think is a good idea, or what I do personally?

POV from a single character per chapter/division is the norm from what I've read, so that's what I use. If it was good enough for Conan, and good enough for Song of Fire & Ice, its good enough for me.

I just think it would be to confusing if you change characters mid chapter.
