Any Asians out there?

[A new life]

I love Asian soups!

Vietnamese Pho

And any soup with a clear broth.

But I just can't seem to get the broth right.

I like vegetables and sometimes chicken, beef, or tofu in it

and of course noodles!

But I can never get the broth right.

Anybody got a good recipe?



Oh, and I'm really trying to cut down on the sodium if possible.

I don't know any recipes, but I'd kill for some good Pho, I live in asia but ridiculously there's no where here that serves Pho that tastes anything like it's suppose to be.

Reminds me of an episode of M*A*S*H where someone asks a Chinese
prisoner (played by Soon Tek OH) if he knew any good Chinese restaurants and he says "A few, but they're all in Chicago"

Please don't confuse "Vietnamese" with "All Asian." Being descend from the Chinese, I might be able to suggest some soups, but I don't think that clear broth is the way of all Asian soups.

Anyway, I know nothing about cooking.

Most of our soups here have clear broths. And it's quite easy to cook too cos you just have to put the ingredients and leave it for a bit. But I am not Vietnamese though I live in South East Asia.
