Any dream interpreters out there?

I had a very odd dream last night, and I was wondering if anyone could help me interpret it, or even just give me your take on it! Normal dream dictionaries don't really help me, so I'd rather turn to people.

In my dream, I got this big tattoo on my chest. It was my first tattoo(I actually don't have one yet, but I've been considering it more intensely over the last month or so), it was a heart of some sort that had an eagle or a bird on it as well. I can't remember it very clearly.

At some point in the dream, I specifically the artist that tattooed me dying. She was a tall heavily tattooed woman, she was very strong and I admired her, though I only knew her very briefly. I got this very bad feeling, and I felt distinctly odd because the creator of something in my skin was now dead.

Any thoughts at all?

Answer: it reminds me of how bad I felt when my dad wouldn't pay attention to me as a kid

You have to find your own meaning, what represents for you in your life. I do it with my shrink, so I don't know how effective it will be without professiona help.

I had a book that tries to explain dreams.

My dreams are very wierd and many of them had came true.
Its odd that you asked about this becuase for some stupid
reason I remember a dream i had that kind of came true sort of speak
in so many ways. The places i was at and the people I was with and
the things that was happening. it was really wickage, twisted, fun
sad, scary at the sametime. I dream it about a month before
all of that kind of manifested itself or became reality sort of speak...

I was trying to remember when I had the dream...before or after
these incidents...I had it before. I remember awaken at certain
places (locations) where I was at, which was before (time) all
these thing in my dream manifested itself....

I had this happened 6-7 times in my life....
So I get scared like that too...becuase my dreams are rather wicked
and dark sometimes.

The last one...it was like we were at an amusement park and camping.lmao
We were having a good time. But when night time came it got all twisted and crazy.
I remember taking a simple walk with my fiancee at a certain place and that
actaully happened in real life...
I expeinced the places and rooms we were in and some of the things
we were doing. We were just dancing and having a good time lauhing and
joking....But crazy honeysuckle happened after that for no reasons.
She was screaming and crying for me becuase very very bad things
had happened and that what she did in real life too.

So i dont really wanna remember my dreams no more because
out of those 7 times...4 of them were really wickage, evil and dark.
Lots of fears...lots of pains ...lots of un answered questions.
Like the twiglightzone...
Thats why I awaken from them....in a cold sweat shivering.

But Ive never been to those places prior to my dream...so it's wickage like that.

Our subconsious mind stores everything...even our creative imaginations.
The thing about our subconsious mind is ...it dosnt distinguish anything.

In the book...

The women dying can represent many things...
Death is not always a bad thing.
It represents a part of you that is dying...perhaps an unhealthy part.
Something you're getting to let go of...your pains, barriers, limitaions...ect.
A chapter of your life is closing so that another chapter can begin.
Maybe the tatoo on your heart represent a rebirth..Heart represent LIFE.
The eagle might represent freedom....

I feel now, as if the tattooist that died could be a lover figure, and the tattoo could be a bizarre representation of impregnation-- which would explain the odd feeling I had after the fact.

Interesting that you mention that, I've had what seemed to be some premonitions in the form of dreams as well. This has only happened to me two or three times though.

You reminded me of a professor I had last semester that told us that everything in a dream is a reflection of ourselves somehow, thanks for the reminder! I like your take on this too, it's very interesting but I'll have to think on it more, I feel as if this dream is more important than any other recent ones.

My fiance was wearing this outfit. Were just taking a walk near water , in my dream.
Here's the kicker...she purchased that top after we were there in real life.
Ive never been to this place prior to my dream.

Strange, I've also had dreams that came true.

I once dreamed about this chinese restaurant, that was oddly shaped. For some reason, this place signified a certain mood in my subconscious, where I knew that it would be important in my life someday.

Then, in 2005, I end up moving down to the city, and live 5 mins walk away from my work, which was the chinese place in my dream. Even the same dudes ran the shop as in the dream.

Very strange.

One dream that I've always wanted to come true was I once dreamed about being at a party, in my 30's, and suddenly this tanned athletic blond in her 20's puts her arms around my waist. I spin to kiss her, and get a brief glimpse of her face...just a glimpse. In the dream, I understand this is the girl that I will marry someday.

If so, it hasn't happened yet!

I follow the same path as Felix more or less:

~ As soon as I wake up in the morning, I type out my dream in notepad with the first thing that comes to mind (order of events is ignored)

~ I go back and type it out if i have time and add descriptions to the events, put it in order, etc


~ If the dream is important enough, I go through the next steps


~ I re-read the dream and think about it

~ I type out my initial interpretation

~ I look for the key words in the dream dictionary and type it out

~ I read both my initial interpretation and the dream dictionary meanings

~ And, put everything back together again


- I sorta follow the whole - part - whole method that I learned from undergraduate and graduate studies for a teaching degree that i have never used in a day of my life.


In some ways, I wish my dreams were more simpler without so much detail and active thinking during the lucid dreaming state.


As others have mentioned, I have had dreams come true a lot.

Also, I have been words that I have never heard and it relates to it.

I have never figured out how the mind can retrieve something that you have never heard before.

Its one of the reasons I post on this board. its kind of like a dairy.
My life had been so weird within the past couple of years.
Everything got way way more intense than they did....

These are some the records. That night was totally intense for me.
I didnt know if i was going to live or became of my life.
Friends/a woman I just met where telling me to not leave Ventura.
I have my dream prior to all of this becuase i awaken in Ventura.
Half of the time I felt like running my truck off the road to just end it all.
I had just gotten into a major fight with my finace. A week prior
She was in TX. I never thought I be with her again nor even go to TX.
She swore up and down that we would never be together again nor would ever talk to me again ever.
I was just driving home becuase i have had enough of everything...yet I didnt want to go home.
Life and death to me just the same.
Thats why I wrote what I wrote...I felt the evil in my dream too.
And I didnt want to live through that....
I wasnt drinking or using drugs..that's why i was even more scared.

I actaully have some vedios of the crazy stuff that happen...the actaul night when
all the evil fell upon us. It happened within an instant...everything
changed from that moment on and it was never the same. It got darker.
You can hear my fiance and I screaming and crying. Fighting for our lives and our souls.
It trumatized the living honeysuckle out of me....

My fiance called as I was drving out of palm springs as the sun was
raisning....that experince in itself was weird

I was really really pissed off that day..LMAO
