This is a crazy poem,a joint effort,that WishingWell,and myself,put together. :D :D

Driving my jalopy with my friend as scared as heck
The car, huffin’ and puffin’, was just making her a wreck
We had no destination…WHOA! “What’s in front of us?” she said
It was a Fairy, and for the love of Pete, she had the hugest head!

This Fairy wasn’t very small, but she wasn’t really big
She was skinny as a writhing snake and resembled a torn twig
She actually was quite pretty, but at her legs I had to stare,
Though so sexy and so graceful, they were covered in long hair.

"My name is Mary", she said in the deepest voice I’ve heard
Then she did something that my friend and I really thought absurd
She stared at us and yelled, “Is it trust in me you lack?”
Then she turned the old jalopy into a shiny Cadillac!

“Since you don’t seem to believe that three wishes I will grant,
I’ll give them to you, however, with a guarantee, I can’t
So talk it over, wish away, and tell me what they’ll be,
But if they don’t pan out, be sure you don't come moanin’ to me"!

I turned to my friend, and she was amazed,
Her eyes were as wide open as her mouth, as she gazed
"What shall we do?” she said and she let out a giggle,
I didn’t know and she didn’t—in her seat she started to wriggle.

“Let's make ourselves a wish to be young and carefree,
That way they’ll still be two wishes--one for you and one for me"!
We both had always wanted to go back in time for fun
This was our only chance to do it, so the decision was all done.

“I don’t know,” my friend said, “I’m sure you will admit
And realize we’re trying to get a double wish to our benefit
The Fairy may feel we fooled her and get crazily upset,
And take all the wishes back from us, as if we never met.”

“I think it’s something funny; I read how dumb Fairies could be,
Especially one that looks like her—look again and see”
“Ok,” said my friend, “we will do what you wish,
I just hope you’re aware that you are being quite selfish.”

The Fairy grew impatient and came to us and said,
“So what the heck’s your first wish, little girl and you blockhead?”
I cleared my throat and told her and she didn’t even see
That it was a double wish, then we were kids dancing with glee.

The fairy was busy combing her legs, when suddenly she loudly said
Get on with your second wish, I wanna go home to go to bed
So my friend said she wanted to be filthy rich, right this minute
A cloud of smoke left my friend dirty with a purse with nothing in it.

Without thinking, my anger got the best of me that day
I swear I wasn’t thinking when the Fairy looked my way
I screamed at the Fairy saying, “look what you’ve done to her
I wish we never met you, madam or should I call you, Sir? (HA HA!)”

Then the Fairy threw her hands up and burst out in heavy laughter
I realized what I wished for, but it was just too late thereafter
“I told you that there’d be no guarantees on wishes to you, kids
And you then thought I was stupid and wouldn’t notice what you did.”

Then the Fairy vanished, and we stood by my jalopy
Me wondering why I felt guilt and my friend was looking sloppy
So we got back in the car, and it huffed and puffed some more
But we had no recollection of the hours spent before.

:) A great poem, made even more so by the fact that you were both able to work so well together.
Thank you for sharing :)
