Hello!

There are clearly not enough threads with tests on this forum. Therefore i will add another one.

I haven't read much at all about the four temperaments, so the information that the test provides is as much as i can give you.

Here's the link.

By the way, my result was melancholic.

I have taken a test or two like this before. These were my results:

Primary: Phlegmatic
Secondary: Melancholic

The phlegmatic temperament is fundamentally relaxed and quiet, ranging from warmly attentive to lazily sluggish. Phlegmatics tend to be content with themselves and are kind. They are accepting and affectionate. They may be receptive and shy and often prefer stability to uncertainty and change. They are consistent, relaxed, calm, rational, curious, and observant, qualities that make them good administrators. They can also be passive-aggressive.

The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. Often they are perfectionists. They are self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is that they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.

Just took this one, same result (except they didn't show the secondary description).

Phlegmatic: 4
Melancholic: 3.7
Sanguine: 1.9
Choleric: 1.6

(^ I got those numbers from the address bar.)

Interesting test - thanks for posting. My result was, 'sanguine' and it's pretty spot on for me. (especially the forgetful nature and getting bored easily, lol.)

Your temperament is sanguine. The sanguine temperament is fundamentally spontaneous and pleasure-seeking; sanguine people are sociable and charismatic. They tend to enjoy social gatherings, making new friends and tend to be boisterous. They are usually quite creative and often daydream.

However, some alone time is crucial for those of this temperament. Sanguine can also mean sensitive, compassionate and thoughtful.

Sanguine personalities generally struggle with following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when they pursue a new hobby, they lose interest as soon as it ceases to be engaging or fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy.

Sanguines generally have an almost shameless nature, certain that what they are doing is right. They have no lack of confidence.

I rarely take these **** tests, but what the hell. **** thing is right on, except...I'm never late to anything, I rarely forget stuff, most hobbies I have pursued I've stuck with them and I'm beyond sarcastic.

melancholic

The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. I don't think this really suits me....

That was quite undefined, so I added the second description as well.

I've taken this test before. I got melancholic at the time.

Maybe i should've screen shotted it too. All three of them had the exact same value, somewhere in the middle, and melancholic was just a bit ahead. So it could be anything depending on the day, lol.

I agree with the first part but not the rest, I am not a perfectionist, wish I was sometimes.

I had almost double melancholic than anything else. So I guess I am a pure melancholic :) The description matches me too

Bollocks to the original reply... I'll let the results speak for themselves.

I had 2 bars full and 2 bars almost empty. I have very little Phlegmatic and Sanguine - so I'm neither relaxed and happy, nor pleasure seeking and spontaneous. Melancholic was slighly higher than choleric, so I guess I'm a depressive, perfectionist with anger issues that tends to dominate everyone around them... yup, sounds about right.

I'm going to guess that most people that know me online won't see that at all.

Well, you can't judge a book by its cover, they say.

Though I have to say despite those temperaments, you've still got a good heart.

However, they got the last bit wrong completely I always think of others before myself. Not sure where they got that from..

My results are:

I would`ve thought differently, maybe I was relating to how I knew I was, from years ago and didn`t realize the subtle changes that set in. Good to know. Though I slightly disagree.
