For sure it's okay!
I go to the cinema by myself frequently. Sometimes I'll go see three films in one day or something. I love getting lost and distracted in films and sometimes it's better to be alone to truly escape. I go to concerts alone too. I listen to a lot of music that people close to me aren't interested in, and that would never stop me from enjoying a live concert. Just a few months ago I went to see Carrie Underwood all alone. She's one of my favorite artists, and everyone around me was like "ewww, country" D:
