I'm having root beer floats tonight. It's a tradition that we've always done on or around the 4th of July.
Should be a nice way to cool off after this almost-100 degree heat!

Thank you but I truly despise this holiday-the noise & explosions terrify animals (my dog included) and all of the pollution from the smoke & debris the day after is horrible. Not to mention the tendency of people to blow off body parts or get killed from fireworks. I always hope for a nice evening thunderstorm but in my area it's going to be a day too late.
