i dont think it is. the game of chess is REALLY old. im not sure how long the pieces have been black and white but im sure its went through many colors throughout history. i dont think it wa intentional that "white" goes first in a racial sense.

I get ingrown hairs sometimes. Usually on the tops of my feet or in my chest. Not so much on my face.
I am sorry you had them on your bum. I almost flinched when reading it. Similar to when I read about Boromir getting shot at the start of Two Towers.
Ingrown hairs are painful. Hope you recover soon.
