I just subscribed to this website.
I am a middle-aged woman, single mom of a teenager ready to go to university. So I find myself moving into a new transition in my life once my daughter leaves. It is very scary.
I have a good life, a great job and friends but sometimes I feel very lonely and lost. I immigrated to Canada about 30 years ago. Left all of my family and friends behind as I followed my then husband.
I am now in a relationship that makes me unhappy most of the time but that I don't seem to be able to get out of, mainly because I am so scared of being on my own.
Well, that is me and why I decided to join this forum.
