Hi, new here...
Don't really know where to start because if I get going I might not stop... Briefly: in my 40s, married to a great guy, but he travels a lot and works horrible hours, and I'm socially isolated where we live. I'm pretty outgoing but have hit the wall with trying to get to know anyone. Can't sugarcoat it: they're AWFUL. And I don't really relate to the conservative housewife thing. Plus I've suffered depression from childhood emotional abuse, and obviously this doesn't help. Plus it may get worse for the next 12 months or so because of stuff that we know is coming down the pipeline (won't go into details here - trying not to write a 10 page essay). Anyway, decided to join here. Hi.
