How to eat in college?

My ultimate plan would be to shop weekly to kroger's and get some capri suns, pbjs, ham sandwiches.. but then my roomies might steal.. hehe..
Or walk to local fast fooderies..
Or just be comfy on campus eating.. heh

Kroger's? Pish-tosh. I'm telling ya, take a good book down to the cafeteria and have a ball. You don't know what you are missing.

Here - I'll even go one step further and recommend a book. It's called "The Salmon of Doubt" by Douglas Adams. Oh my God, it is so funny!

I agree with the poster above--if you bring a laptop into the cafeteria it's not like being alone. You can come to this forum and we'll talk to you! Therefore, you won't be eating alone!

Seriously, if you have the laptop but look up and look around once in a while, seem approachable, give a small smile to people who look at you, someone would want to probably join you or at least sit at your table.

It's not like high school, where it's a sin of the world and humiliation to sit alone. You may have a ton of friends, as far as the others students know, but they are in class while you take lunch.
