My sister who I am close to has left me and my dad. I'm happy she moved out and getting closer to her goals. We were like twins, and she moved far. I don't have a car either. I have one, friend and a cat. My dad and I aren't really close. I don't like spending time with my mom either. It feels really strange. I am scared, I can't find a job. I am afraid of what I am going to be like 10 years from now.

Sooner or later we children will be leaving our home to pursue our goals. That's reality,it's part of growing up. It is the same as birds leave their nest when they grow up. Although it might seem difficult to adapt to the new environment (where your sister left) , you just got to adapt. Life is a journey, every new environment is a journey. Make full use of it! :D No one will ever know how things are going to work out, that is why we ourselves as well as you should be open minded and open hearted and eventually, things will fall into the proper place. ;)

Just try to be positive rather than keep thinking about you're alone or that you can't blend well with your parents. In time, your thoughts will change and you will see things differently. No one can have the best of everything, that is why we have to make full use of the things we got.

Just find a job and work, keep yourself occupied rather than staying at home feeling alone. Go out socialise! :D 10 years from now is a long way to go. Start moving now and eventually you can shape your own life. :D

My sister, who I love more than anyone in the world moved to another town with her boyfriend to work there and start a new life, so I really understand how you feel. We must be happy for them, though, they are doing what's best for them and really start having control over their lives. We may miss them but they sure as hell won't stop loving us just because we don't live under the same roof with them anymore :)

I am happy for her, but I think this has shown how much I really don't want to live. I really don't have anything I want to do in life. I really just want to die.

Have a little faith in yourself, you don't need to depend on others to find purpose and meaning in your existence. People always have fancy philosophies...I'm used to the old one:
If you don't succeed...it's because you didn't try hard enough.

I think so too.

So what is success in life? I don't want to make a lot of money, a house, or a iPhone.

What do you want, newguy? For yourself.

I like music, art, movies, I want to gain a deeper spirituality. I want to watch more movies, become a better guitarist. Visit more museums. I want to go to the oprea one day. Grow closer to God.

There you go. A list of things to achieve. Maybe not do all at once or it might get overwhelmed.. focus on one thing first maybe?
