I bought a watch today, and it got me thinkin'
Of all the honeysuckle that I've done, all the things I've been missing.

Seconds go by, my head's a mess. Hours go by, my brain's complex.
Days go by, I made up two lines. Years go by, a vertex in time.
Time's pouring out, I don't know what's next. Life's pouring out, whenever you rest.
Time goes by... Perhaps it does not. Memories never go by, nor the people you've lost.

Life goes by without you.

I broke my watch today, it wasn't too expensive.
It reminded me of you, stern and unresponsive.

Seconds...
Hours...
Days...
Years go by and...

I bought a watch today without you.

Can anyone recommend a good and cheap watch?

I used to have a casio watch with a calculator. It was great. Who needs watches these days anyway seen as all mobile phones have a clock function.

sounds awfully handy... I prefer having a watch because it's more practical and fast than having to open a phone ect.

I don't have a cell phone...or I don't use mine...hahahaaaa

I'm used to wearing something on my left wrist
either the watch or the wrist band with a skull with wings coming out of his ears.lol
I can still easily wrap it around my fist...give someone a knot on their head if they get too smart with me :p

Yes, but I hate the ticking of a watch. Clocks, watches and anything that makes a constant repetitive sound such as a dripping tap. It just reminds me of my own body clock and how it's ticking away and my time on this planet is getting shorter and I'm getting no where fast.

Sometimes I write down the time, so I'll know it later.....

I'll get my coat and take my book of Spike Milligan jokes with me. Thank you.
