Intro from the UK

Hey guys,

I'm a 28 yr old male living in the midlands, and a lonely guy.

I've had psychological challenges for most of my life and in my social interactions have alternated between being obnoxious, submissive or 'weird' and as a result I don't have any lasting meaningful friendships. But over the past few years I've become increasingly 'down to earth', and am growing in self love.

This year has been very challenging; I've lost my job due to discrimination, seperated and am getting divorced, am unemployed and am about to probably move back in with my mother.

I have one true friend but due to him being an entrepreneur (they work round the clock), sole bread winner and family man we don't see each other that regularly.

Through this forum I hope to make find some meaningful friendships with others who have struggled to develop meaningful social connections like me.

During this period my current interests are pop psychology, self-help, pop science, and religion. I'm also trying to create employment for myself by marketing adult entertainment.

If anyone is familiar with Elaine Aron I'm an introvert and an HSP, and if anyone is familiar with MBTI I'm an INFP.

I lke birmingham. had a f from spring hill. Loved some of the palces on broad street especially the moon over the water (wetherspoons)! haha Bullrings quite nice too

Ah you are an ex pat? where are you now? when did you leave England? I know, cant beat the wetherspoons (althouh thyre bein mean by not letting me smoke my e-ciggy!)

No lol I'm not an expat. I just left England last week on boxing day! Although I feel for you, I am kinda glad they don't let the place be filled up with ciggies! Lol cos not everyone smokes (like me for example lol) and it makes the place more breathable for these people with it being an enclosed place. Will PM you more!
