New haircut suggestions for a 17 year old guy :P

Hey guys, random topic lol, been wanting to cut my hair into a shorter more mature looking style for a little while now. I can't make up my mind tbh. I don't think I look good with the old "short back and sides" do and I don't think i suit my hair short enough to spike up either :/
I'm not really sure what I want to be honest, just something shorter, more masculine and mature-looking for a 17 year old dude. Sorry I couldn't find any pics of me with short hair, or when my hair was really long :/

Thanks for the advice, I googled "Ivy league haircut" and got a whole list of different short hairstyles. I think i'd like similar.

Here's a pic i thought looked ok, it's Robert Pattinson (not a fan of him tbh...) with a haircut i like

Thats a good point, I'll ask for a look when I go to get it done, but I do want a picture of some sort of something that i'd want just in case I don't see anything better in their books
