I am English, born in London, and now live in Cyprus; I have been here now for 7 years. Not sure how well you know Cyprus, but I live in a place called Bogaz, it is in the northeast corner near to the Karpaz peninsular. It is a lovely place to live, all year around sunshine and a laid back way of life. Separated from my wife last year.
I am looking for new friends to meet, network, talk to or socialise with, not looking for serious relationships.
I am fairly outgoing with a good sense of humour, but also have my quite moments too, like to take long walks, it helps me think about all sorts and it is great for getting things into perspective.
I love music, soul, blues, motown, as well as being stuck in the sixties with the beatles, stones etc.
Oh, and I am 56 years old but don't let that put you off, i am quite friendly really and always willing to listen and help if I can. I Have experienced most of what life can chuck at you and still come bouncing back! Divorce, family deaths and disputes, lots of them, brought up in the school of hard knocks, redundancy and finally rejection by the woman i love. So if anyone would like to chat feel free. I prefer to keep a positive attitude to the future though and try not to dwell on the honeysuckle that has happened, difficult at times, but it does just drag you down even more. Have a good day everyone. John
