This is a simple little poem I wrote some time ago when I was agonizing over the hurt that one "hunk of flesh" puts on another.

Oh What A World

If every man, to make his mark on this mistrusting world,
would meet his fellow travelers honestly, with arms unfurled,
his every word to soothe an ache,
his hands held out for goodness sake,
with heart to rather give than take,
oh what a world ‘twould be.

A world in which people could trust. That's the kind of world it would be. A much more peaceful and kind place. :(

I liked the poem a lot. :)

Thanks SophiaGrace, I'm glad you like this. I just quickly jot it down one day, didn't really take it seriously. But I've been recently thinking about injustices in the world. You're right if things were like in this poem, it would be a much more peaceful place. Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble on my own thread.
