Having a bad year - wrote this when I had no one to vent. On Booksie. Thought I'd share.
Titled: Losing is a struggle
One thought a day is a struggle,
For you smother my mind.
Go away, leave me be.
I wait for the day,
Where one is without a thought,
Of you.
Yet I ache for your touch,
For your voice, for your contact,
When I’m without you.
Time is the devil, it walks when you're not here.
But runs when you are.
Taking back time is one way out,
To the time before we first touched.
A life without your embrace,
Reverses the scar reality dealt.
A year to love,
Leaves a year to mourn.
Return the pieces of my heart,
