I thought I adress this topic in a thread.
PUAs or so called Pick Up Artists are men who have failed to attain healthy relationships with women so they use manipulative techniques listed in the book The Game by Neil Strauss. They however also have their other gurus and these gurus supposedly teach men how to manipulate and abuse women.
PUAs tend to track down women who are vulnerable and lonely. PUAs try to find such women in bookstores at the self section section, romance section and spirituality section. They also like to hunt women down at bars, clubs. on the street and also on the internet.
So ladies, take your time to get to know a man when you meet him, and don't give PUAs a chance to sell you his lies and hurt you.

Yeah...PUAs use tricks that anyone could see through. Most of the women who get picked up by them are either too stupid to know it, or are women who are looking for the same one-night stand the PUAs are.

And if you read the entirety of The Game, you'd know that the woman he actually likes and the woman he wants to be with is the one that doesn't fall for his PUA honeysuckle. So while the book may be a manual for the less intelligent to pick up women, the real message in the book is that the Game only plays in the small-time league; the real women out there, the ones worth something, are on another court.

That's not a PUA. The whole point of being a PUA is that you don't wait months to get sex- you "pick up" the girl and have sex with her that evening. People who manipulate girls over a long period of time are not PUAs. They're douchebags.
