It feels ways too good
To keep lying to myself,
You think it’s okay but it’s not
And you’ll keep it that way.
Everybody’s laughing in the halls
And I just want to go home.
Constantly fighting with yourself
To keep from going crazy
But you don’t seem to care at all.
It’s been like this for too long,
You’re tired now and you want
To go home but you can’t,
Silently closing your eyes.
Stop making yourself feel bad,
You had no way of knowing
It’d be this hard and now
Your knees are shaking
Under the pressure,
This great pressure
That just keeps
Coming down,
Crushing you.
