Reality: The laws of physics are absolute and very restricting
Videogames: The laws of physics are usually toned down and easily broken and can be used to your advantage

Real life: You are you. You can never change that.
Videogames: You can be anybody, or anything.

Real life: You take a bullet and you will feel it and possibly die. Takes a long time to recover
Videogames: You can easily take lots of dammage without hindering your ability to function and all you need to heal is a healthpack

Real life: You can't take a break and go do something else
Videogames: You can pause and play something else or stop playing it if you don't like it

real life: No achivement system
Videogames: Often times have an achivement system

Real life: You can't win. The only end is death
Videogames: There is a way to win, even if you die a lot. There is usually a clearly defined end.

Video games are limited by what someone else can imagine. Not only that, their creativity is stifled and diluted by the producers that believe they know what their consumers want and you get a product, not a reality.

You know where you can create your own worlds, your own physics, your own pleasure and pain? Worlds where you can stand upon mountains and watch as the world crumbles into oceanic whirlpools as the moon comes crashing down on your head? Your mind. Use it.

Fantasy is always better than reality, for it's only restricted by the mind, which isn't just a one-trick pony. Well, unless you're a social worker or another cog in the gears of bureaucracy.

I generally tend to think that worlds of video games are better...well, to quote Benedict the Scary Glass-eyed Assassin: "Because here, in this world, the bad guys can win!"

And more often than not, they do.

Reality: You kiss a girl you feel awesome
Virtual reality: You e-kiss a girl, you probably just kissed a Russian paedophile, congratulations, you're a sick fresia
