So, I don't really have a problem with making friends/meeting new people, I think, I'm at university so I do meet new people fairly regularly. And I would say I am pretty good at doing the day to day kind of conversations like "how's your work going?" "wrote you dissertation yet?", that kind of thing, I can do pretty well. But when things move past that and the topic of our work is exhausted, I fall more or less silent and don't know what to say. So when I get home from uni, I have nobody to talk to because I haven't made a connection with anybody outside of talking about our work.

I have had a few cyber friends/pen pals but they usually fizzle out after a few months and I never hear from them again unfortunately. This site seemed like a good way to meet some people, I which I would love.
