I think that some people are afraid to set goals because they are afraid of failing. If you fear failing you will never set your goals, if you never set goals you will never succeed. Sure you may fail the 1st maybe even the second, but resiliance is a powerful trait. Use it.
The best example i can think of is interviewing for jobs. Very few people get the first job they interview for, sometime's it takes 10-20, evern 30 interviews before you get that job. I've sent out hundreds of resumes in my life, yet i've only had a handful of jobs. Do I consider those hundreds of other jobs a failure, not really, just a path to success. failure is just part of finding success.
