To me, yes. But, it's hard for me to explain it in words. They don't really understand why I'm interested in the things I'm interested in, and when I do try and explain it, they get on me for it (become really hard on me without realizing it, I think.) and treat me like I'm 12 and not 20 years...

Well...doesn't it kind of depend on who it is you're speaking with? The people I"ve become friends with online aren't fake at all. And we've also gotten on webcam together a few times. They generally are very nice people.
