I am losing sleep.

Fallling behind in classes.

Moved dorm rooms.

In new dorm room now.

Still have bug bites.

Was told to rub everything down with alcohol, but I can't rub my books down.

I have washed everything I own.

Every time I lay down I get crawling sensations.

I was told to go to student health services for treatment for the bites, but that is not my issue.

My issue is that I feel like I still have bed bugs and no one seems to recognize that this is the issue.

I have thrown out a lot of my belongings.

What should I do? I am so angry, upset and frustrated right now.

Try fighting it at the source. Bed bugs eat skin cells that fall off of you while you sleep. A good idea would be to try and use exfoliating creams/washes/products that will get rid of your extra skin cells so that there are less to fall off and feed the bugs.

Also, you may consider bleaching your mattress/blankets.

Here's a site that may help a bit:

They ARE in your books, they are in everything basically that isnt glass, metal, or plastic. Do not bring anything from the dorm home with you, throw it all away.

Write a letter to the local newspaper, I bet if the college gets shamed by the general public they will do something!

Sorry, Soph. Don't know anything about bed bugs. Wish I could help. :(
I hope the staff do something soon.
*hugs*

Report it to the health department. They'll do something about it then. :D

Try Diatomaceous Earth. It's pretty cheap, usually organic, safe to be around (kids, pets, human, food, etc)

they eat your blood, they bite,

and they can be as large as a dime,

they typically live around the bed frame,

and come out at exactly the same time every night.

you would SEE them if you were conscious,

they are not microscopic.

notice it's proboscus in the skin,

it IS drinking your blood
