Bring a guest

Do you think people who aren’t lonely notice when someone never has anyone? For example if you tag along to a work event and you don’t bring anyone when everyone else does. For me it’s glaringly obvious and I’m paranoid it’s going to let everyone see into my life and know about all the things I try so hard to hide.

Of course for the last few years I have had someone to bring. My good friend Anxiety. We are very close and Anxiety is always there with me at any events with a ‘bring a guest’. However if I had the choice I’d quite like to choose someone other than Anxiety for a change.

Another event is coming up and again I fear I will be the only one without a visible guest. Most of the time I avoid situations for this very reason, among others, but I really would love to be able to be different just for a change.

Maybe this time I’ll take Frustration…

I don't know the answer to that question. I wonder the same myself...I live by myself and am only seen with my dogs but rarely with another. I wonder what others think of me!

Does anyone else wonder?

I embrace it to be honest. I look at it this way. I go to these events. I can pull out my 3DS and people forget I am there. I do not have to worry about a person wanting to meet all my co-workers. No one wants to talk to me because I cannot relate to their couple problems.

Look on the bright side, free food, free booze and best of all it all costs more money than most of us can afford.

is it possible to hire an escort?
I mean... how much would that cost?
I never banged a stranger before and an escort dont sound very clean... but hey... if they are hot... and willing to goto a social gathering with me... and then a happy ending?>

money can solve all problems... it might cost me a weeks pay... but... it could be fun...
