I don't buy all this 'confidence' anyway. Confidence can easily be seen as arrogance. Charm is the thing ! Having charm and charisma will go a long way ! (amongst other things obviously !)

I don't think it's so much building confidence as it is how you handle rejection.

Confidence is a positive feeling, a feeling of high probabilities and belief in yourself. Arrogance is overbearing pride and a belief of superiority towards others.

I choose Confidence and less dwelling, although it's much easier than to put into practice.

I agree with that. You can't control rejection. You can't force someone to like you. They either do or don't. Therefore you can't really control whether you have someone or not. We shouldn't get too upset if we can't meet anybody. We can slightly put things in our favour, eg get out more and meet people but at the end of the day it's not upto us !

I learned something pretty neat a long time ago about pretty women. I'm not sure if it applies to handsome men though. She said to that not many guys approach her or some of her friends to ask out because she is attractive and most guys just assume because of her looks that she must already be taken and don't bother for fear of being turned down for that very reason.

I've recently come to realize something that would have helped me 15 years. I should be out finding a married women to get married to. I know that sounds odd. I've always written married women off as untouchable but I guess I shouldn't have.

See, I'm the type of guy women want to marry but not the type women want to date. Women seem to want one type of guy to date but the exact opposite to marry which seems to be why they get so many divorces since they only marry the ones they are already dating.

I didn't understand it in my mid 20's when I had so many married women hitting on me or trying to have affairs with me. It wasn't until my late 30's when I started trying to date that I realized it. After a few last dates (that's what I call first dates) that ended with the women telling me that I'm a nice guy that a woman would love to marry but I'm not the type that they would date that it hit me.

I need to stop hanging out on dating websites and find some marrying websites to sign up for. *laughs*
