I have found Adblock to be a useful extension. The other one i have never used. At a quick glance i can't really tell what it is but it seems to be along the line of AVG's LinkScanner.

Yes its exactly like avgs link scanner but much better cos it wont make firefox slow like avg does as its just a 1 mb extension and in this, its actually people like you and me who are rating the sites so you would actually know most of the websites that if they are bad or good and contains harmful content. I ended up downloading it after I uninstalled avg.

That would be good because the first thing i did was turn off AVG's LinkScanner and the toolbar. I don't know if i am comfortable with John Doe evaluating it for harmful content. Is there some way that i would know that it isn't his site or that he is competent to make that judgment?
