I mean, just because what someone wears something that is "weird" to you or not in the norm, doesn't make it wrong. I teach at a very rural school and there is a student that is gay and he wears make-up and wear clothing that would not be in the "cultural norm" in the area (as in cowboy boots and flannels lol). But I tell my kids, there is nothing wrong with him, if he wants to wear that and it's school appropriate, go ahead. Be yourself, nothing wrong with that.

I agree. That boy has his own style and there is NOTHING wrong with that. Would I wear it, no, but that's not my style. He is free to wear what he wants and he doesn't deserve to be judged for that. That boy is awesome for doing as he feels comfortable and not caring what others think. Good for him. More people should be like that boy in the image.

I was talking more about the poses and weather they are approriate for a boy of that age.

I am well aware of what you are referring to, but that post wasn't in response to yours, but to other posters in the thread.

As I said before, there is nothing sexual or inappropriate about the poses the boy is doing. You are making something out of nothing because of your past.

It's not just because of my past, I have witnessed in the gay world this increasing obsession with youth, the idea of a "twink" was something in the margins and really a way of hebophiles justifying their tastes, now it has risen to dominance.

Turn off your porn filter and type "twink" and see what comes up. I did this the other week. A site was called "gay boys tube", It had the option to see the most popular videos. One caught my eye:

It was entitled "Abducted Twink" (twink meaning boy/teenager/boyish" - the image was of a man putting duct tape over a "twinks" mouth (I did not watch the video). The description of the video was "schoolboy gets raped". The tags were "rape"/"Bondage"/"fetish". The number of views - quarter of a million, just on that site.

And in seeing that for what it was, the narrative, is when I decided to give up porn completely. I was a schoolboy. I was raped, by a man not far off my age. Now I am on a site and there is a "schoolboy gets raped" video. It was a legal video, yes, but the message was clearly sinsiter and illegal. And such a fantasy that leads to the kind of thing that happened to me.

Academically there are increasing cases of, shall we say, interests in schoolboys coming before the courts, and they are involving people of increasingly young age as the perpetrator.

I wonder what is driving this? Does that image contribulte?

You are aware that that content is ILLEGAL and can be reported, right? After being reported, they will shut the honeysuckle down if it has child pornography on it. Also, you are aware if you are found having viewed that content, you can get in just as much trouble, right?
If you want it to stop, DO something about it. Something concrete, like reporting them or joining (or even starting) an advocacy for the problem. Get that honeysuckle off the internet. Don't watch it, find out whatever the number or site online that you need and report them. Hell, make it your mission if you must, that will help save children. It is a small step, but it IS helping.
But the image you posted in the OP is NOT sexual. Maybe some would see it as such, but those people have wires crossed in their brains, either from past experiences (like yourself) or something sicker.

The content I described was NOT illegal, hence it is still up there quater of a million views later. What was desturbing to me was the narrative. And yes, thre was a time I would have watched that without thinking. But I looked at the narrative. And I remeberd one of the first pornos I saw, again legal, and one of the most popular gay pornos ever - "Sacre College" by Cadinot. This film featured legal by boylike 'actors' in uniform and older guys in priest clothing and set in the backround of a catholic school. The sexual acts were portrayed as punishment for the "boys" wrongdoing.

As a 16 yr old gay I just watched it and fapped to it. Now I think of the narrative, the story, the implications.

Can you imagine one of the victims of the catholic priests knowing that gays are and have been watching such a story?

Might be legal, but is it right. That is what I am getting at.

It was legal for that man to do what he did to me in some countries. But was it right?

I don't have any problems with people that are gay, but something about these pictures makes me actually feel nauseous. I really can't tell what it is that makes my body react that way. I think it's something to do with his age or the makeup he's wearing or something. Very odd for my brain to react that way over some pictures.

edit- I'm now pretty sure it has something to do with what he's doing with his mouth.

The world is full of disturbing things. If we posted them all here, who'd have time for the "What are you thinking now?" and "What are you listening to?" threads?

A follow-up: If someone enticed my child into making faces like that and posing for those pictures, I'd kick his balls so hard, he'd cough them up.

With these...

Not sexualization of children, but clearly an ad on sexual choice.

Sure, he's probably too young to realize if he's gay, bi, or trans, but that doesn't mean it won't happen down the line.

Exactly that.

It's the expressions. Those (just my own opinion) are not something you typically see on a child. It's something you typically see a model doing. To me, the expressions appear to have a sexual undertone. I am not commenting here on gender, sexuality or anything else. Just the expressions. You see those on sexy supermodels in ads. They are MEANT to look sexy.
Just my two cents.

Outfits aside.

When young girls are used in a similar fashion(& they are all the bloody time!) nobody really bats an eyelid anymore, are we so desenitised to seeing young females in this manner that it only registers when the subject is a young male?

*femminist rant complete, as you were.

I will agree and it's disturbing. I recently saw a photo of a nine year old model...I think she was either from Russia or Germany. One of the pictures showed her in "kids" clothing, but her expression and the way the clothing was posed on her were disturbing for me (I have a nine year old daughter).
She was sitting, but leaning to the side which made her butt very visible and the strap of her top was pushed off of her shoulder. I feel this is something that needs to be stopped. Nine year old girls (or boys if that was the case) should NOT be portrayed or displayed in such a manner. Who the fresia are these magazines catering to anyway?! Do they think young children are going to pick up on those sexual undertones??
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

I was quite surprised that a TV show in the UK was allowed to display an image of a little girl (3 or 4 maybe) haveing a sparay tan in her knickers with her hands behind her head. If you had that on your computer it would be deemed level 1 child pornography, but on a major TV show it was not. I had it in mind at the time to make a complaint to the police and have the producers charged with "making indecent images of children", and encouraging others to do the same. I have a niece, I should not like her in her knickers in a pose that is open to interpretation.
