I was in a crowd, but I felt really lonely in it. So I isolated myself and was happy for a while. I'm really not sure which is worse. Being lonely in isolation or among "friends" you really don't connect with. Do you know?
I definitely know. Loneliness is indescribably painful, there is no doubt about it, but I would rather be in isolation than be with people that I just do not share a connection with. Never give up looking for the people that do relate to you, but never feel that you are forced to spend time with people that do not relate to you.
that is so true........id rather be alone than hang out with mean and selfcentered people ........some people can really bring you down and ruin your day....bummer.....don't let the world dump their honeysuckle in your life.....we have a choice who we hang out with......
