Hi all, I'm in my late 40s from Manchester UK, several months out of a long relationship, i was just wondering if there were any other mature lonely people out there? or am i an exception to the rule :(

I have always looked at the lonely thing as an old persons thing. Like ppl who have had there partner die on them. ppl over 60 I guss lol

But I have lived alone and struggled with this since I was 20 years old. Am 35 now and I do know of other ppl on here that are very similar age to you and me. At lest if you stick around here you well realise that your not alone in being alone.

We have people that age, but no, I wouldn't say anyone here is mature. :D

There are many lonely people of all ages. I think most of them would be in their teens / 20's and people who have lost a loved one in a long relationship.
