Hey everybody, my first post here. I've been reading around for a couple days and you all seem very nice.

I'm 18 year old gay guy from Virginia. Currently I'm also a sophomore chemistry major in college.

I've never really had friends, always been alone, but I had one close friend for 2 years until a few months ago and it's been really hard. I don't know how to meet anyone now, because I go to a big state school(33,000 students) and live off campus. I started at community college, and ended up screwing myself out of living on campus freshman year and now I just don't really know what to do

Being at college and having to commute does make socialising a lot more difficult. It's probably worth looking at what clubs and activities are available unless your commute is horribly long.

Hey welcome to the forum. Alot of times like katerina said clubs and different activities like that are a good way to meet people if youre not having any luck in your classes. Anything where you can get with a group of people that have a common interest. Kinda like here were all lonely so if nothing else you can talk about that, and that helps to break the ice.I think that is bar none the hardest part of making friends. Sometimes i think my ice hammer and pick are broken lol. Anyways man glad to have you with us and hope being here helps.
