As you walk away
Can not find the words to keep your place
Lower my head, guilt resounds
Now my face upon the ground

Can't get out of my head

As I fall asleep
Where to? The unforgiving deep
I see your shade; hideous form
Picking at invisible sores

Can't get out of your head

I'm feeding it pills
it stays off the chills
Maddening thoughts, they dance
But I just sway back-and-forth

To the wrongs in your head
Can't get out of my head
To the rot in my head
Can't get out of your head

Maybe someday
Life won't be this way
Perhaps something will stay
Something good for some other day
