I've got a story to tell
About how I am so tired
Meeting these people through the
phone numbers I've acquired

At first it wasn't so bad
Until I needed a new one
That one's in a men's bathroom stall
Labelled with 'let's have some fun'!

Then I got a new one after
But did it get any better?
New Brunswick calls for Dean Junior
So I ask, how's the weather?

Now I thought that I was clear
But that lasted a month or two!
His name was Mike (his 'friends' are jerks)
"Where's my drugs you ******* fool?!"

Another one was awkward
It was a text from daddy dear
"Sorry Mom and I divorced son,
I can't look in the mirror..."

Finally for my last one
Right away it was clear to me
Sonny boy did not tell his dad
He got a new number, see?

So do us all a favor
That I know I surely will too
Reuse your cellphone numbers please
Or tell them your number's new!

From the bathroom stalls and druggies
To the family snubbing their ties
And long awkward apologies,
Here to them are all my goodbyes

Goodbye Cowboy's stall in Red Deer
And to Dean Junior's cheery friend.
fresia you too, Mike's good ol' buddy
Frank and Susan tie your ends!

(ranting poem)

It's true lol. Some creep text me, and when I asked where he got my number he said it was in a bathroom stall in some place called Cowboy's lol

So tired of new numbers lol this phone shall be the last one I have. And at least it isn't a drug runner's, in a bathroom stall, or a divorced couple's son who is unfortunate to get caught in the crossfire!

Nothing makes me happier
than a tale of funny times
where the storyteller's cool enough
to make the whole thing rhyme

What a strange and unique journey
that a number took you on
from wierdo strangers to drug filled dangers
your must have chuckled all along! :D

The world is just too strange sometimes
that i'd come across this randomly
because to me this story's extra special
I'm a Mobility Employee

I don't mean to laugh at your troubles
and hope I don't sound fishy
but your quirky little poem
made me feel all warm and squishy :shy:

I wonder what inspired you
to put in the extra time?
perhaps it had no reason
but I love it because it rhymed!

Humorous and clever
and as charming as a blossom
you made my day, and I have to say
your poetry is awesome! :p

A+ for replying, with rhyming lol!

Ironic you are a mobility employee :p This last number seems like it was recycled barely a month before I got it!
As for making it into poetry - because I have ranted enough about the issues I have, I thought it would be a break to add in a quirky bit lol.
