Roger Ebert on Loneliness

Roger Ebert's blog is one of my main Internet haunts, and in this post he waxes on loneliness.

I thought it was a very profound entry. I'm certainly happy that he's only ever felt truly lonely once in his life, but at the same time I'm also envious.

I agree with you Magikarp. I would never wish loneliness upon anyone yet am envious of those who never have to deal with such sorrow. I have felt loneliness for so long that I cannot remember a time when I was not so it is hard to imagine someone that has only felt this way once in their life (and Ebert is no spring chicken either you know)
