just want to vent a little bit.
well
my girlfriend lives several hours away
and nobody sees us as a couple except for us
it kinda pisses both of us off
and we love eachother so so much
finally getting down to visiting her is the good news
:)

Enjoy your visit.

You both know you are a couple :) Whether anyone else acknowledges that is irrelevant. What matters is that you and your gf do acknowledge each other as significant other. You don't need anyone's approval or acknowledgment to be what you are. Have fun visiting :)

Yeah, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, as long as the two of you are in agreement. Plenty of people are in long distance relationships these days. It's gotten easier with tons of communication possibilities and easy transportation. Have a good time!

yeah
thats what ive been trying to tell her
but it still bothers her.
i told her peoples opinions will probably change once we meet in person this weekend,
that seems to have helped a lot.

we already have the whole weekend planned out
looks like its going to be the best weekend of my life :)
going on my very first date tomorrow night :)
my ex never wanted to go anywhere,
and i only got 1 kiss out of her the entire month i was with her...

i really feel like my current girlfriend is The One though...
Me being a hopeless romantic, i could pretty much make anyone The One, as long as they make me that one...
lol
but still
i will have fun

I wish you the very best. I read your 'Life Story' thread and it sounds as though you could do with a break. I hope this is it.

yeah lol
and i didnt even add everything in that thread...
just some of the more main points...
also dealt with a ton of neglect from friends and family alike
and much more
but yes
i really hope that this is where my life turns around for good.

Perhaps explaining it to her like this might help:

Once you actually meet, it turns from an on line relationship, into a long-distance relationship. :D Those are quite common these days.
Good luck! :)

Long-distance relationships may be common, but I've never been able to maintain one.

Hope it works out for you, Skully. I don't want what happened to you last time to happen again.

nor do i
but i doubt this will end up like that.
seeing as this girl seems way more loyal than the last...
most of the shock last time was from her cheating on me...
but i dont have to worry about that

not fun at all...
such a horrible feeling..
especially when you did absolutely nothing to deserve such a betrayal...

Take it as a positive the long distance relationship can do you both good because both of you will have your space to do yourselfs, focus on your priorities and still meet each other.
