Short white ones with a bit of colored trim on them. It doesn't matter what brand as long as they are a thin sock.

Cheap Walmart ones that they no longer make. I bought like 15 pairs because a few years ago because I like to keep backstock. I still have 6 new pairs remaining. 
I've yet to find anything to replace them. They work great for hiking because the cheap rubber on the bottom is very grippy and they are super light weight.
I like thick padded socks even in summer.

That's a really tough one because I like almost all types of cake. Maybe angel food cake with strawberries and whipped topping? Maybe chocolate cake with chocolate frosting? I can't decide.
