I find a lot of 'celebrities' overrated, I’d much rather see the person than the persona they put on but in the spirit of the thread if I had to choose:

Stephen Fry - a true gentleman

Stephen Hawking - a great genius

Uesugi Kenshin - a man with some interesting philosophies

as neighbor? I'd like to still have Gerry Boulet as neighbor. he's been living near my street for a while, or either had a gf there. I saw him often. I always thought he seemed really cool, his music was awesome and he died too fast.
