What are you thinking right now?

Ska, I've found the only control we have in life is what we ourselves do. It's a much easier way to live if you focus on righting your own actions, and accepting that everything else will be. Soldier on with the job search. I know how frustrating and lengthy it can be, but you'll get what you...

    1-month streaks

I've actually noticed the opposite online Ska. The prettiest (inside as well) seem to be 26 onwards. I find that age sexiest because those women appear to know what they want. I think you're at the prime age for online dating my friend!

    1-month streaks

I wholly agree with you two! I want to be secure enough in my career and finances before I have kids. I know I'm too focused on me right now to be an adequate parent. Plus I've got 4 nephews and soon a niece, so there are enough little people for now :P I'm into the online dating as well, and...

Your reply made my day Triple! :P I relate Ska, that same self-doubt creeps in after one of my connections fizzles. I like to think iv e gotten used to it, but the pattern itself is worrying me. You've nailed it I think PC: my laid back approach probably isn't the vibe the women I've dated...

    I'm tired of being single

The post about the efforts of a relationship being more than the resulting rewards really rings true with how I'm feeling currently. I'm contemplating a break from seeking out connections with the opposite sex. I feel I could put the energy saved from such a break towards spoiling myself for a...

    1-month streaks

Great point, and that did come to mind after I posted. I'm realizing "long-term" wasn't the right wording. I'm okay with something lengthy or even long-term blossoming, but I'm not looking for something serious. University, coaching & playing soccer, along with work & fam responsibilities...

    1-month streaks

Hey ALL peeps, I feel I'm a pretty positive person regardless my circumstances, but I've noticed a trend that is starting to eat at me a bit. Since I made the dating scene a priority a few years back, I've enjoyed the company of quite a few awesome ladies. But a disheartening fact thru it...

    Hello

Another friendly welcome to you Alana! I'd say the prior one is biased :P.

Still have no clue how to pick them apparently...

I feel like giving the same precursor as ladyf because I'm not sure I have an answer. Nevertheless, I thought a genuine male perspective might help. And I sense common ground, as I find myself very emotionally tuned. The brightside to see is that emotion means passion, so you're more likely to...

    What made you smile today?

The gal I met for a tea and then movie/further convo at her place. Not sure another outing will come of our evening, but she definitely made my month :).

    Advice from a Divorced Man

Uplifting and respectable notions, but Lim nailed it: utterly unrealistic. I'd exhaust my own well-being to accomplish all these for another. And seriously..."penetrate her to the deepest levels of her soul"? Don't pretend like you didn't go straight to the gutter with that one people. :P

What are you thinking right now?

^ +1 I'm thinking that it's been waaaaay too long since I slept with someone special beside me.

Girls and books: like? No like?

Another reason that comes to mind is because of what we associate with reading - quiet, shy, introverted. The stereotype can hinder people who don't have an open-mind, which is quite a lot of us male critters.

Girls and books: like? No like?

I find the most arousing quality in a woman to be her wit. I fancy social intelligence, aka street-smart, but have an almost equal appreciation for books smarts. The more books and knowledge, the better I say, as long as the bookworm isn't solely living her life thru their stories.
