I just don't have the attention span I used to. I'm reactionary. Sometimes I'm irritable, even angry. Family seems crazy. Neighbors seem nuts. I don't fit on the one side, or on the other side. I write long posts; but, rarely will give other posts, articles, etc.. anything beyond a skim (not always though).

Everything hurts some times. It just hurts. Physically it hurts. Mentally it's anguish. I'm exhausted. Feels like my head is in a vice, quite often.

I enjoy simple pleasures, perhaps at the detriment of things that need to be done. I enjoy a nice meal. Water. Soda. All that ephemera the virtuous warn against. hmm.

It almost feels like, if I have some insight, and I let it out into the world, it's just parroted back to me, without any real essence behind it. Perhaps because my words are empty, there's not much behind them either.

I'll continue anyway. I remember substance. I remember feeling, as opposed to gesticulated thoughts and opinions. I remember genuine compassion, coming from a place of knowing.

That would entirely depend on if said partner is okay with it and knows it's playful.
Yeahh like I swear at my partner in a playful way and he knows its playful, he’s always swearing at me but its our humour however … sometimes we get looks 😅 like we are abusing each other 😬

Yesterday, a "friend" let me know how lazy he thinks I am because I walk and don't drive. When I told him it's cheaper to pay someone gas and buy them dinner than to take care of a vehicle, he told me I'm full of excuses and always have been. Maybe he's right. But my legs don't feel lazy :ROFLMAO:

Dang, if that's a friend, I'd hate to see your enemies.

Aren't you being more financially responsible by not having a car?

I mean, you know I love cars. But it's your personal choice not to have one, you have your reasons, and like you said, you make up for it in other ways like buying the person gas and dinner.

Guy sounds like a jackass, to be honest. I know the older I get, the less patience I have for that kind of stuff myself.

I also think people need to stop being judgmental and self-righteous about so-called "lazy" people. In my life, I find that actual "lazy" people, who really want to do nothing, are not that common. Most people probably would do better if they could, there is just something that gets in the way. I think the fixation society has with "laziness" is a symptom of the cult of Darwin, that seems to have taken over the world. Often the people complaining the most about "laziness", hate working themselves - that's why they're so sensitive about it. If they liked what they were doing, they wouldn't complain or care.

And props to you for staying in shape from all that walking, haha

I used to spend almost every day with him and his wife, and I still genuinely think they are awesome people. However, when he goes through a struggle, he finds someone to take it out on. I was one of those people a couple of years ago and have kept a respectful distance since.
What irks me about what he said yesterday, is that I literally harm nothing by walking. So what if I carry a few too many groceries home once in awhile? So what if I only go to the city a few times a year? I hate crowds, so it works for a quick in and out. I wouldn't hop in my car to drive to a job that is only a 6 minute walk. Hell, I wouldn't hop in my car to go across town for what is only a 12-15 minute walk. So basically, I would be paying for something to sit and look pretty. No thank you. I get that it is culturally normal to have a car before you own a home where I am.
I have to consider the source, who is someone who just likes to find what he considers wrong in everything. I remember telling him that we were having taco salad for Thanksgiving, as it was what we could afford. His response was that we didn't respect history, values and tradition. I say, fresia tradition.

edit to say - I probably cause thousands of ant and beetle deaths a year with my heavy footed nonsense.

Fella sounds awful. Keep doing what you do, live your life it'll really piss him off :)

I don't understand your friend's point-of-view. How can walking be considered lazy? I too, walk most places if I can. It always surprises me the (obviously healthy) people that will jump in their car for a quick jaunt to the corner store or something - like 2 blocks at most. That I consider lazy.

Your friend sounds like a bit of an ass. . .

See, I very rarely walk anywhere. I even take the motorbike to the church at the end of my very short street for yoga classes. It's not that I'm lazy (well I hope not) people tend to approach me, total strangers want to have a 30 minute chat others seem to think I'm walking because I'm looking for a date. 🤷‍♂️

Theres some people I like to win a debate against and others I dont 😔 especially when they forced my hand 🙃

I don't understand why people go bananas over YouTubers - like why they get so hyped to see them.
Like what does it do for you? "Oh yay we saw the guy that does silly pranks and stunts". OK, I guess?

Maybe I'm old and don't get it, but I don't really take YouTubers that seriously as being a "thing", like pro athletes and A-list entertainers like big actors and rock stars. I know there's a lot of money in YouTube if you know how to do it/have your own wacky spin on it. But not much I've seen on there really blows me away. It just doesn't seems serious, just a lot of crazy stunts and pranks. I'm not saying it's absolutely bad and no one should like it, but I don't really care about that stuff myself.

I guess I don't get the adoration of celebrities in general.
I've been maybe ****a LITTLE**** hyped to see some of my favorite rock stars in person. But just a bit. It's not like seeing them means we are going to be best buddies, or that they will give me some of their powers and knight me into rock 'n roll with their guitars (then I WOULD be excited).

Honestly I get more excited to see a car, or a dog, than a person I don't really know. I just don't get it.
