I feel very lonely on the weekend. I have nowhere to go and not much to do. If I want to do anything, I always end up doing it by myself. I have not much family and no friends. It's just me and my Jack Russell, Tommy.

Here ya there Blue Sky, i just get out and be around people even if they are strangers. You have to be comfortable in your own skin....never know who you will meet.
Sounds exactly like my weekends and my exact situation except that I'm in a place where I have no family or friends.
I don't drink or smoke so Jack Russel isn't my friend either. I spend my weekends cleaning or doing laundry. This thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, new year, Saint Patrick's Day or what have you. I spend them all the same way as I've always been for the past decade. By myself. :club: Sucks to be me.:rolleyes2:
