I haven't written a poem for years,
I forgot how to rhyme when my Dad ate my ears.
He did it because he was hungry one day,
And had exhausted his stock of lovely brown hay.
I used to write nonsense while laying in bed,
And was always upset when it never got read.
So I've decided I'll now try to make much more sense,
Whoops, just a sec, I swallowed 10 pence.
I used to be funny and make people laugh,
It was likely because I look like a giraffe.
But once my neck shrunk people drifted away,
So I took some neck pills, and it grew back the next day.
I haven't used these forums since losing a friend,
She was a bit nuts and drove me round the bend.
Not really, I just needed to find things to rhyme,
As I'm rushing this due to not having time.
So just to be clear, I really liked her a lot,
Despite the fact that she had a big bot.
I hope this gets read and makes some people laugh,
I now need to go and have a hot bath.
