Do you think you make your own luck in this world or is it just totally random. Reason I ask is cos I am the most unluckiest guy in the world.

I have played the lotto since it started about 15 years ago. Two tickets a week and I won about 3 tenners and one time 4 numbers come out but the pay out for that was the lowest it had ever been for 4 numbers that week.

I have recently been playing some poker at a pub near me and I lose all the time. Even when I have a good hand there is always someone with an amazing hand. Even the ppl there have started to say that I am not a lucky person. LUCKILY for me I don't bet money on the game. Its just for fun.

I went to a casino for my B-day and lost moor then anyone there. Even the women that worked there on the relate table I was on said I was unlucky has well.

And to top it of I was at the dog racers last year and I bet on every race. 17 racers, 6 dogs in each race and I never won anything. Statistically I should had one at lest 3. One dog I bet on ran of. I swear it just ran away. This is my luck.

I never believed in good or bad luck but now I really do think some ppl just got better luck.

I'm more of an agnostic person. I don't believe in a God, but rather a force in the universe. Whether this has any link to my philosophy or not, I don't know. Have you ever wondered how some guys really have good luck? I think it's because they believe they can do it. I believe willpower is quite a valuable asset and, even though it won't part the seas or anything, it will make you think differently, towards winning, and that can improve your odds. I know this may sound like useless babble, but I don't know, give it a try, believe in yourself and you capabilities and really believe; maybe it will work out.

Everyone has the same amount of good and bad luck, it's just distributed in different ways at different times.

All the time. That's one of the reasons I made this thread.

I do see what your saying but I think it runs a little deeper then that. I can go into something feeling great and still do terrible. Just have pure bad luck that is all there is to it.

All tho I also think willpower is a valuable asset I think that can only take you so far. And let me tell you with out willpower I would not be walking today.

My question was more rhetorical to emphasize my idea. I completely agree with what you say, though I'm sure we both agree that not everything depends on us, perhaps the world is set to certain parameters or maybe variables that are parameters for other variables and so on...really confuses me when I think about it :)). In any event, maybe one should change his world, more or less, to suite him better.(just an idea that came to mind considering what I said just before)
