New to Forum

Hi, I'm new. I am 55 and living alone. Life is good, except I am one of those people who miss looking forward to sharing my life with a partner on a daily basis. I have joined this forum to find some new friends. Although I would prefer to have friends that I could see and hear, everyone is so busy. I am looking for some fun interaction here... anything to pull me out of "self-pity" mode.

I've been looking through some of the threads and bios... boy do I feel at home!!!

I noticed that very few put up their "real" pictures. What is that about???

I love all the openness here. I feel so out of place in this world...and now I get to share it, without people sending me to therapists, etc so I can "drug up" to fit in. I think honesty is sanity, but for some reason most people are labeled insane if they share the truth of who they are.
