The following changes have been made to the forum:

- The The Diary, Anger Management and Feedback & News boards can no longer be read by guests or members awaiting activation due to the reason that not anyone should be able to read Your private diary, that they have no reason to read any threads written entirely to let steam out, and that certain news can contain information that aren't good/supposed to be public, respectively (like the one below here for example.)

- The Chat-Room is now public and stores messages. This means that nobody has to register anymore; guests can use the chat-room in the same way as members. Also, everything written in the chat-room, both in the public part and in private chats, is now saved to some extent. There are no logs or the like. But the last 20 messages written in there (until they are dropped out at the top to make room for new one's from the bottom) are always kept and updated (even when You are not there and others are writing that is.) Messages stored within private chat-windows are naturally only kept between You and the other participant, respective to each person You've had private chats with.

You can delete Your own messages if You don't want them to be saved when You leave. According to the Xat manual of the chat-room You apparently "sometimes might" have to log out and back in (using the button to the lower right of the chat-room window) to be able to see the red "X-buttons" next to Your latest messages. Click those buttons next to each message You want to delete.

Now would perhaps be another good time to remind everyone of the feature "Ignore". If You don't want to be able to see what someone writes (like for example if someone misbehaves and there unfortunately aren't any moderators around to shut 'em up for good) and don't want that person to be able to start a private chat with You either, click his/her name in the user-list to the right and click on "Ignore". Just like the rules imply, ignoring, whether it's only for a couple of minutes, is to be preferred over squabbling in the public tab as well (outside a private chat), since there is a great chance that there are participants in the chat who'd rather not like to have to ignore both of You. Public chats are very easy to start if You want to discuss something with someone. Just click the persons(') name in the user-list and You can't miss it.

If You want to turn off word-filtering You can click Your own name in the user-list and de-check the "Hide inappropriate words"-check at the bottom of the window.

Thanks for Your co-operation.
