One point that has been missing from this thread is personality type.  Nothing that anyone says is pertinent to all.  I would disagree with your sixth post as it pertains to me, but it might apply completely to the OP.  Only he knows.

Well, I nearly always use the term mostly to avoid comments like that. But, when it is not used by others we should just read things as if it is there. Otherwise the posts would get bloated with all the disclaimers necessary to keep MOST everybody happy. One could say that race or orientation wasn't mentioned. But, we don't need to point that out either.

The guys I've talked to said it basically effected them as it did has me. If you continually look at race cars you won't want to drive a beater? Sure, you'll use it to get back and fourth to work. But, it's not going to stimulate you. How has porn effected you for the past ten to thirty years with your different partners? Also are you looking at porn on your phone, laptop, or TV? Bad porn is bad. Good porn is great. It's like looking at an old, worn out race car with faded paint. Sure, it's a race car but it's not going to get you excited.

I prefer reading erotica over watching pornography. The actors always suit my preferences when in my own imagination. As far as sex goes I've always be rather vanilla. That's awesome! You're a lucky man! Most guys are very visual. I'm really curious. When you image the actors do you image what they look like or more how they behave? Do you play a sexy scenario in your mind like in the erotica you read? It's an honest question because when I'm imagining them it's all about their appearances and what I can see. There's nearly zero role playing in my mind.

I used to read and could see it as a movie in my head. Getting old. The movies aren't so vivid any more.

In my novel I described a character in detail. One of my beta readers yelled at me because she had already decided what the character looked like and it wasn't my description. It was a valuable lesson. Don't mess with a readers mind movie.

We see people in every day life. Some are visually pleasing, some not so much. In a mind movie the actors are all pleasing. It's like that movie, Last Action Hero where the kid falls into a movie with Jack Slade (Arni Sartzahicky) and the kid is trying to convince Slade that he is in a movie. "All the people are perfect. How could they all be perfect if this was real life?" Slade replies, "It's Beverly Hills."

I don't really put myself in the movie. I guess I'm more of a voyeur.

Mind movies perfect. Videos not so much.

The most bizarre case of sex I heard was the one involving the Siamese Twins, Conjoined Twins, namely the Tocci Twins Giacomo and Giovanni.  In most cases where siamese twins are joined together, each twin has his own separate set of genitals.  But in the case of the  Tocci Twins, their bodies were joined at the genital area so it was one set of genitals for both of them, so it was shared.  It gets really bizarre because later on, they made a lady pregnant.  The lady was willing, so nothing bad there, but the question is--which Twin is responsible?
