Yes, we're not alone in our loneliness, but I think we are alone in our lives (our real lives, at least). While exchanging electronic data on the internet is cool and all, and some of us have no other choice, I think what we all need, ultimately, is to hear a human voice and see a face and a smile, to touch, to hug, to kiss, ... you get what I mean.
